Honoring and Healing Connecticut's Wildlife
Honoring and Healing Connecticut's Wildlife
At Forty Acre Wood Wildlife Rescue, I offer a safe haven, skilled care, and a second chance for orphaned and injured wild animals. I primarily provide care for opossums and flying squirrels, but will assist with other small mammals on a case-by-case basis, bringing heart, skill, and soul to every rescue.
Located on forty acres of private woodland in Willington, my home-based center offers a peaceful, natural environment where healing begins.
What I Do:
Rescue: Emergency response for orphaned or injured wildlife
Rehabilitation: Species-specific care grounded in science and compassion
Release: Safe, ethical reintegration into the wild
Education: Resources and outreach to support peaceful coexistence with native wildlife
