Proudly caring for Connecticut's wildlife
At Forty Acre Wood Wildlife Rescue, I provide safe haven, skilled care, and a second chance for orphaned and injured wild animals. Specializing in small mammals such as cottontails, opossums, and flying squirrels, I bring heart, skill, and soul to every rescue.
Located on forty acres of private woodland, my home-based center offers a peaceful, natural environment where healing begins.
What I Do:
Rescue: Emergency response for orphaned or injured wildlife
Rehabilitation: Species-specific care grounded in science and compassion
Release: Safe, ethical reintegration into the wild
Education: Resources and outreach to support peaceful coexistence with native wildlife
